Bachelor Degree Admission Requirements

General Admission Requirements
1. Students from Thai Educational Systems/Bilingual Programs/English Programs/International Programs/Standard Programs
1. Applicants who are currently in their final year or have graduated from high school (Grade 12) with a focus on Mathematics, Science, and Technology, having completed a minimum of 30 credits in Mathematics, Science, and Technology subjects combined. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of no less than 2.75 out of 4.00 from Grade 10 to the first semester of Grade 12, or
2. Applicants who are currently in their final year or have graduated with a Vocational Certificate (Voc. Cert.) in Industrial Program in the fields of Electrical Machines/Civil/Electronics/ Industrial Technology with a focus on Science-based programs or related fields. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of no less than 2.75 out of 4.00 from Year 1 to the first semester of Year 3.
3. The applicant must have test scores in all three areas: English language, Mathematics, and Science (Physics and Chemistry), which are internationally recognized.
4. Good reading, writing, and communication skills in English
2. International students from Foreign Education Systems/Bilingual Programs/English Programs/International Programs/Regular Programs
1. Applicants who are currently in their final year or have graduated from high school (Grade 12) with a focus on Mathematics, Science, and Technology, having completed a minimum of 30 credits in Mathematics, Science, and Technology subjects combined. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of no less than 2.50 out of 4.00 from Grade 10 to the first semester of Grade 12, or
2. Applicants who are currently in their final year or have graduated with a Vocational Certificate (Voc. Cert.) in Industrial Program in the fields of Electrical Machines/Civil/Electronics/ Industrial Technology with a focus on Science-based programs or related fields. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of no less than 2.50 out of 4.00 from Year 1 to the first semester of Year 3.

3. Applicants with General Educational Development (GED) Qualification
1. Applicants must be currently studying in their final year or have graduated from high school abroad with a General Educational Development (GED) qualification. Applicants must submit the GED Diploma and an official transcript of GED test results with the following conditions:
  • Case 1: Applicants who took the GED before May 2017 must have results in 5 subjects, with scores of at least 410 in each subject and a total score of at least 2,250 points, or
  • Case 2: Applicants who took the GED on or after May 1, 2017 must have results in 4 subjects, with scores of at least 145 in each subject and a total score of at least 660 points.
Note: In the case that the applicant has not completed high school or its equivalent, the applicant must present academic records from their previous school up to the last semester before the GED examination.

Applicants who are citizens of one of five English-speaking countries are exempt from submitting the English Test Result to TGGS:
1. Australia
2. New Zealand
3. The United Kingdom
4. The United States of America
5. Canada

Applicants who are not citizens of one of the countries listed above are required to submit their English test results to TGGS. Other English test results, including English Equivalency Certificates, are not accepted at TGGS.

The requirement to enter Bachelor Programs

– SAT (Reading and Writing) 400

– IGCSE (English) C
– A-Level (English) C
– AS (English) C
– AP (English) 3
– IB (English) 4
– Examinations with CEFR Level results B1
(For Thai Applicants) English subject GPA, with a cumulative GPA from Grade 10 to the first semester of Grade 12 or from Year 1 to the first semester of Year 3 of vocational education not lower than 2.75 out of 4.00
(For International Applicants) In cases where the applicant does not meet the qualifications, the interview committee and the program’s responsible lecturers will consider the applicant’s academic performance in English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. The cumulative GPA from Grade 10 to Grade 12 (first semester) or from the first to the third year of the vocational certificate program (first semester) in each subject must not be below 2.50 on a 4.00 scale.

The requirement to enter Bachelor Programs

– AP (AB or BC)(Mathematics) 3
– IB (Mathematics) 4
– Mathematics subject GPA, with a cumulative GPA from Grade 10 to the first semester of Grade 12or from Year 1 to the first semester of Year 3 of vocational education, not lower than 2.75 out of 4.00.

The requirement to enter Bachelor Programs

A Copy of Your Science Test Results and Qualification for the Bachelor of Engineering Programs are as follows: (choose one of the following options)

– CU-ATS (Science) 750
– ACT (Science) 20
– IGCSE (Science) C
– AS (Science) C

In cases where the science proficiency exam is divided into two subjects, namely Physics and Chemistry, the scores for Physics and Chemistry should be submitted separately as follows:

Physics proficiency exam results (choose one of the following):

– A-Level (Physics) C
– AP (Physics) 3
– IB (Physics) 4
– Physics subject GPA, with a cumulative GPA from Grade 10 to the first semester of Grade 12 or from Year 1 to the first semester of Year 3 of vocational education, not lower than 2.75 out of 4.00.

Chemistry proficiency exam results (choose one of the following):

– A-Level (Chemistry) C
– AP (Chemistry) 3
– IB (Chemistry) 4
– Chemistry subject GPA, with a cumulative GPA from Grade 10 to the first semester of Grade 12 or from Year 1 to the first semester of Year 3 of vocational education, not lower than 2.75 out of 4.00.

Admission – Oral Interview by the TGGS Admission Committee
The admission to the program will be decided through an oral interview. The applicants will be interviewed by the TGGS Admission Committees to evaluate their background knowledge and attitudes including problem-solving skills, motivation, leadership, IQ and EQ, etc. In the case of foreign applicants, the interview may be conducted by video conference or telephone.
