The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on the academic cooperation between King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok and Plastics Institute of Thailand. Held on October 27, 2020 at the meeting room on 9th floor, Science and Technology Research Institute, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. In this occasion Professor Dr.-Ing. habil. Suchart Siengchin, President of KMUTNB, presided over the signing ceremony. Professor Dr. Somrerk Chantaramporn, Vice President for Research and Information Technology Development as KMUTNB representative, and Mr. Weera Kwanlertchit, Director of Plastics Institute of Thailand, as PIT representative.
This partnership will take place in the form of activities by the following purposes.
- Cooperation in the transfer of technology, knowledge and experience through seminars to personnel in the industrial and semester.
- Cooperation in technology research and development, in terms of knowledge testing tools or other supporting materials to extend knowledge and innovation which can lead to sustainable industrial development of the country.
- Cooperate in supporting technical service to various industries in the country, including machine tools for forming products, testing tools and various supporting equipment.
After completing the signing, Asst. Prof. Dr. Rungsima Yeetsorn, Lecturer from Materials and Production Engineering, The Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering (TGGS) bring the attendees to visit the laboratory. Tools and equipment in various laboratories at 5th and 1st floor, STRI Building. Then move to 3rd and 4th floor, Laboratory Building, TGGS.
พิธีลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจการร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าพระนครเหนือ และอุตสาหกรรมพัฒนามูลนิธี สถาบันพลาสติกจัดขึ้นในวันที่ 27 ตุลาคม 2563 ณ ห้องประชุมใหญ่ ชั้น 9
อาคารสำนักวิจัยวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าพระนครเหนือ โดยมี ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุชาติ เซี่ยงฉิน อธิการบดี เป็นประธานในพิธีลงนามในครั้งนี้ ทั้งนี้ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สมฤกษ์ จันทรอัมพร รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ เป็นตัวแทนในการลงนามฝ่าย มจพ. และนายวีระ ขวัญเลิศจิตต์ ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันพลาสติก เป็นตัวแทนในการลงนามฝ่าย อุตสาหกรรมพัฒนามูลนิธิ สถาบันพลาสติก
ความร่วมมือนี้จะเกิดขึ้นในรูปแบบของกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ภายใต้วัตถุประสงค์ต่อไปนี้
– การร่วมมือในการถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยี องค์ความรู้ ประสบการณ์ ผ่านการจัดสัมมนา ให้แก่บุคลากรในภาคอุตสาหกรรม และภาคการศึกษา
– การร่วมมือในการศึกษาวิจัยและพัฒนาเทคโนโลยี ทั้งด้านเครื่องมือทดสอบ องค์ความรู้ หรือสิ่งสนับสนุนอื่น ๆ เพื่อต่อยอดองค์ความรู้และนวัตกรรม ซึ่งสามารถนำไปสู่การพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมของประเทศแบบยั่งยืน
– ร่วมมือในการสนับสนุนการบริการวิชาการแก่อุตสาหกรรมต่าง ๆ ในประเทศ ทั้งด้านเครื่องจักในการขึ้นรูปผลิตภัณฑ์เรื่องมือทดสอบ และอุปกรณ์สนับสนุนต่าง ๆ
หลังจากเสร็จสิ้นการลงนามแล้ว ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. รังสิมา หญีตสอน อาจารย์ประจำหลักสูตรวิศวกรรมวัสดุและการผลิต บัณฑิตวิทยาลัยวิศวกรรมศาสตร์นานาชาติสิรินธร ไทย-เยอรมัน นำผู้เข้าร่วมงานเดินเยี่ยมชมห้องปฏิบัติการเครื่องมือและอุปกรณ์ ในห้องปฏิบัติการต่างๆ บริเวณชั้น 5 และชั้น 1 ของอาคารสำนักวิจัยวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี และห้องปฏิบัติการ ชั้น 3 และชั้น 4 อาคารปฏิบัติการบัณฑิตวิทยาลัยวิศวกรรมศาสตร์นานาชาติสิรินธร ไทย-เยอรมัน (TGGS)
