Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chennai, India visited TGGS
On 13 March 2023, Consul General Nitirooge Phoneprasert delivered an opening remark at the Global Internship Programme on Emerging Technologies and Business Opportunities in Thailand at the Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering (TGGS), King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, Thailand.

The Global Internship Programme is co-organized by the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chennai and the Tamil Nadu Advanced Technical Training Institute (TATTI) with 22 faculty members and students from TATTI and Loyola Institute of Technology attending the programme which runs from 11 – 17 March 2023 in Thailand. Participating students who are currently studying at the graduate and undergraduate levels in Electronics Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Data science, and Business Administration will undertake engineering and business management-related courses at TGGS, visit Thai companies, and take part in cultural tours to learn more about the art, culture and history of Thailand.

TATTI is a leading training institute which has been operating successfully for more than 36 years through collaboration with major central and state government organisations on various entrepreneurial and job-oriented courses, educational and cultural exchange programs, as well as training and placement solutions for college students in Tamil Nadu. In the past, it has organised several oversea exchange programmes in Southeast Asia including Singapore and Malaysia.

เมื่อวันที่ 13 มีนาคม 2566 กงสุลใหญ่นิธิรุจน์ โผนประเสริฐ เป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดโครงการฝึกงานนานาชาติในหัวข้อเทคโนโลยีใหม่และโอกาสทางธุรกิจในประเทศไทย (“Global Internship Programme on Emerging Technologies and Business Opportunities in Thailand”) ณ บัณฑิตวิทยาลัยวิศวกรรมศาสตร์นานาชาติสิรินธร ไทย-เยอรมัน (TGGS) มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าพระนครเหนือ กรุงเทพฯ

โครงการดังกล่าวเกิดจากความร่วมมือระหว่างสถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองเจนไน และสถาบันฝึกอบรมการศึกษาขั้นสูงแห่งรัฐทมิฬนาฑู (Tamil Nadu Advanced Technical Training Institute : TATTI) เมืองเจนไน รัฐทมิฬนาฑู ในการนำคณะนิสิตนักศึกษาและคณาจารย์รวม 22 คนจากสถาบัน TATTI และ Loyola Institute of Technology ซึ่งเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยที่มีชื่อเสียงในสาขาวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และบริหารธุรกิจ ของอินเดีย เดินทางเยือนไทยอย่างเป็นทางการ ระหว่างวันที่ 11 – 17 มีนาคม 2566

การเยือนไทยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษาและวิจัยระหว่างไทยกับอินเดีย โดยมุ่งพัฒนาการด้านการศึกษาและความเป็นเลิศทางวิชาการร่วมกันในสาขาที่จะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจและสังคมของสองประเทศ โดยเฉพาะสาขาการบริหารธุรกิจ การพาณิชย์ อิเล็กทรอนิกส์และเครื่องจักรกล ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ และวิศวกรรมยานยนต์ โดยคณะนิสิตนักศึกษาจะเข้ารับการฝึกอบรมในวิชาวิศวกรรมศาสตร์และบริหารธุรกิจ ณ TGGS ศึกษาดูงานที่บริษัทไทยออโต้ซัมมิท และเยี่ยมชมแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงประวัติศาสตร์ไทย เพื่อประโยชน์ในการพัฒนาองค์ความรู้และทักษะการประกอบวิชาชีพในอนาคต ตลอดจนเรียนรู้ศิลปะ วัฒนธรรม และประวัติศาสตร์ไทย
