“Developing German-Thai cooperation and Tech-Localization
for enhancing the service quality and attractiveness of Railway in Thailand”

Abstract:

This talk will explore opportunities for both Thai and German industry to develop their business in the railway market in Thailand through joining hands. During this event, industry representatives will share their experience, insights and ideas on how specifically Thai-German industry collaborations can exploit new synergies which can result in enhanced quality and attractiveness of railway services in Thailand. Supporting mechanisms such as technology transfer, tech localization and standardization will also be discussed. The talk is structured by 3 guiding questions and concludes with a Q&A round, giving the audience an opportunity to engage with the speakers.

After this main part of the event, a new Thai translation of a German textbook in Railway Engineering is introduced as a product of the technology transfer promoted by GTRA.
