Chulalongkorn University (CU) and King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) signed a letter of intent for collaborations in establishing a double degree master program in railway technology with RWTH Aachen University, which has been awarded as one of excellent universities by the Federal German government.
The signing ceremony took place on 30th July 2019. In this occasion, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Edmund Haberstroh, acting RWTH Aachen Rector’s Delegate for Thailand, and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christian Schindler, Head of Chair and Institute of Rail Vehicles and Transport Systems participated and signed the letter of intent as the representatives of RWTH Aachen University. Asst.Prof. Dr. Pomthong Malakul Na Ayudhaya, vice president of CU for academic affairs represented Chulalongkorn University and Assoc.Prof. Dr.-Ing. Nisai Fuengwarodsakul, Dean of The Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering (TGGS), represented King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. Dr. Manop Sittidech, Minister Counsellor, Office of Science and Technology, Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels, participated as the witness of the signing ceremony.
