TGGS Holds Advisory Board Meeting 2026 to Strengthen Strategic Direction in Education and Research

On 20 February 2026, the Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering (TGGS), King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), convened the TGGS Advisory Board Meeting 2026 at the Rajapruek Meeting Room, Navamindra Rajini Building, KMUTNB. The meeting aimed to review institutional progress, exchange perspectives, and receive strategic guidance from distinguished advisory board members.

The meeting was honored by the presence of key executives and high-level representatives, including

  • Dr. Marinee Suwanmoli, Deputy Director General, Department of European Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • Mrs. Ebba Scholl, Deputy Head of Mission, the German Embassy in Bangkok
  • Mr. Thomas Trännaop, Chancellor of RWTH Aachen University
  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pichet Sriyanyong, Vice President for International Affairs, KMUTNB, 
    along with distinguished Board Members from government organizations, industries, and universities.

The 2026 meeting focused on reviewing TGGS’s performance over the past year, highlighting key areas such as the development of internationally recognized graduate programs, the promotion of industry-oriented research and innovation, and the strengthening of collaborations with international partner universities and research institutions, particularly within the Thai–German cooperation framework. Efforts to enhance graduate competencies in response to future industrial needs were also discussed.

In addition, the Advisory Board provided valuable recommendations on TGGS’s future strategic directions, including the expansion of international networks, the development of new programs in advanced technologies, and the reinforcement of education and research initiatives aligned with sustainability, digital transformation, and modern industrial development. These efforts reaffirm TGGS’s role as a leading international graduate engineering institution and a key hub for Thai–German and global cooperation.
