Ph.D. Scholarship in Thermal Spraying Research (KMUTNB-TWI)
The Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering and the National Structure Integrity Research Centre: NSIRC (TWI, UK) are hiring outstanding national and international students to join our fully funded Ph.D. scholarship in thermal spraying research for oil and gas applications.
The expected background of the successful candidate may come from mechanical engineering (focusing on surface engineering), production engineering, metallurgical engineering, and material science and engineering, with a strong interest in fundamental and applied research relevant areas such as corrosion science and testing, surface science and engineering, and tribology.
For eligibility criteria, candidates must have:
- a minimum 3.50 GPA (4.0 system) or equivalent from the previous postgraduate
- an English Proficiency Test Score, viz., TOEFL (PBT 500+, CBT 173+, iBT 59+) or IELTS 5.0+
- be enrolled full time for PH.D. programme
