IIW 2026 Joint Intermediate Meeting
of Commission II and Commission IX

Introduction
This joint meeting is an annual event of C-II and C-IX in the International Institute of Welding (IIW). Following the previous meetings held in Sweden (2025), Korea (2024), Germany (2023) etc., the 2026 IIW joint meeting of C-II and C-IX will build on this legacy, combining the welding excellence in Thailand and the surrounding countries. We cordially invite you, especially young researchers and industry experts, to join this landmark edition of the joint meeting of two commissions (C-II and C-IX) of IIW.

Call for Abstracts
Authors are invited to submit abstracts of about 200 words in English by February 15, 2026. Even on-going research work and field experiences are welcome to present in the meeting. Abstract and Full Paper Template can be downloaded using this Download Link.
Submissions must include the speaker’s email address and be emailed to Sub-Commission Chairs listed below:
