A moment of gratitude fills the air as we extend our heartfelt appreciation to the distinguished members of the TWI Team, who recently graced us with their presence. This illustrious delegation included the Director of Innovation and Skills at TWI Ltd UK, Professor Eurlng Tat Hean Gan, and TWI Thailand Country Manager, Engineer Satanphop Amsupan. Their visit was a remarkable occasion, marking a pivotal step in fostering academic collaboration and the pursuit of excellence.
The stage for this meeting of minds was none other than ” The Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering (TGGS),” a citadel of industry-oriented graduate education and research in Thailand, diligently following the revered RWTH Aachen Model. With open arms and enthusiasm, the esteemed Dean of TGGS, Professor Dr. -Ing. Nisai Fuengwarodsakul, along with TGGS Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Quality Management, Associate Professor Dr. Tawiwan Kangsadan, and TGGS Assistant Dean for Research and Industry Relations, Assistant Professor Dr. Peerawatt Nunthavarawong, welcomed the TWI Team. Nestled on the third floor of the TGGS Building, this conclave of intellects delved into the realms of knowledge, shedding light on the essence of TGGS KMUTNB curriculum activities, industry-based internships, and the remarkable achievements that have adorned its journey. In this exchange of ideas and visions, the path to collaboration between TGGS and TWI was illuminated.
As a testament to the commitment to innovation and research, the TWI Team embarked on a journey through the state-of-the-art laboratories of Materials and Production Engineering (MPE) on the sixth floor of the TGGS Building. It was here that TWI NSIRC LRF -funded First International PhD student, Muhammad Tahir Farooq, was diligently pursuing his research. The labs resonated with the harmonious symphony of ideas, experiments, and possibilities.
In the wake of this inspiring encounter, we look forward with great anticipation to the boundless opportunities for collaboration that lie ahead.
