EPE Block Lecture “Battery Technology for Electric Vehicles” by Univ.-Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Dirk-Uwe Sauer

The Electrical Power and Energy Engineering Program (EPE) organized a Block Lecture with the topic “Battery Technology for Electric Vehicles” on 2nd March 2017. A Block Lecture was given by Univ.-Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Dirk-Uwe Sauer, Institute for Power Electronics and Electrical Drives, RWTH Aachen University, Germany at Conference room, 3rd Floor, TGGS Building, KMUTNB.

Throughout this Block Lecture, the participants received a knowledge that “Electrification of passenger cars is getting momentum around the world at all major car manufacturers. Significant reduction in battery cost and improvements in the technology allow more attractive products. At the same point in time, the pressure from the environmental point of view increases. Therefore, the automotive industry sees itself at a turning point of dramatic changes towards electrification of cars, buses and even trucks.”
