Asst. Prof. Dr. Rapeephun Dangtungee and his researcher's team have combined the natural rubber with synthetic polymer for use in rubber cement soil road and improve the performance of the road. Rubber is an important agricultural production in Thailand. Its outstanding feature is the elastic, toughness and abrasion resistance. These great flexibility and adhesive properties can be applied in the development of cement soil road. Currently, it is well known that rubber price has dropped and has become a major national issue. By utilizing rubber for cement soil road application will help solving this issue as well as to promote this new application as export product to other countries.
